【摘要】:ThisCodeprovidesstandarddirectionsandrulesforconductingandreportingperformancetestsofwater-cooled,steamsurfacecondensers,hereafterreferredtoascondensers.TheCodeprovidesexplicittestprocedurestoyieldresultsofthehighestlevelofaccuracyconsistentwiththebestengineeringknowledgeandpracticecurrentlyavailable.ThemainpurposeofthisCodeistoproviderulesforperformingcondenseracceptancetests.TheCodealsoprovidesguidelinesfortheroutineperformanceevaluationofcondensers.Theacceptancetestcanbeusedtodeterminecompliancewithcontractualobligationsandcanbeincorporatedintocommercialagreements.ThetestshallbeconsideredanASMECodeTestonlyifthetestprocedurescomplywiththosedetailedrecommendationsinthisCodeandthepretestandpost-testuncertaintyanalysiscomplieswithSubsections1.3and5.4.
